Factors can be multiplied together to get the original number.

For example here are the factors of 66.

1 and 66. 2 and 33. 3 and 22. 6 and 11.

1 multiplied by 66 results in the original number 66.

2 multiplied by 33 results in the original number 66.

3 multiplied by 22 results in the original number 66.

6 multiplied by 11 results in the original number 66.

VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

yes, (0,0) is a solution for the system of equations.

Step-by-step explanation:

y < -x + 3 ,we would then plug in the ordered pair which changes that equation to 0 < 0 +3 (which is just 0 < 3) and that is true.

Then we plug in the ordered pair for the second equation, which changes it to 0 < 2 or 0 < 0 + 2.

Now, since the inequalities are true, the ordered pair works for the system.

(sorry if that was confusing)

I don't understand the question. Help please?

Find the value of X

Find the value of Y
slava [35]
Let's start with x... Since angle AOE is a 90 degree angle, then we know the supplementary angle EOB is also 90 degrees. The 2 angles that make up angle EOB are given to us as expressions. Added together the must equal 90 degrees...

(x+8) + (2x-8) = 90
3x = 90
x = 30

Now if we look at y, we see it is an opposite angle from angle DOB. Because it is opposite, it is also congruent... so it has to be equal to angle DOB... and since angle DOB is 2x - 8, we can substitute x with the answer we found in the last step, 30, to find the angle.

2x - 8= y
2(30) - 8 = y
60 - 8 = y
y = 52 degrees

Since angle DOB equals 52 degrees, then y = 52 degrees

x = 30 degrees
y = 52 degrees

*Note, you can also find the value of angles GOF and EOD by plugging x (30) into the expressions.
