Answer:

Explanation:

Given

Temperature of gas at First stage T_1=0^{\circ}C\approx 273\ K

Pressure of gas at First stage P_1=760\ torr

Volume Occupies V_1=22.4\ L

If the Pressure and Temperature at second stage is

P_2=760\ torr

T_2=25^{\circ}C\approx 298\ K

Using ideal gas Equation

PV=nRT

where P=Pressure

V=volume

R=Universal Gas constant

T=Temperature

n=no of moles

as n and R is constant therefore

\frac{PV}{T}=constant

thus \frac{P_1V_1}{T_1}=\frac{P_2V_2}{T_2}

V_2=\frac{760}{760}\times \frac{298}{273}\times 22.4

V_2=24.45\ L

A circular coil of radius 5.0 cm and resistance 0.20 Ω is placed in a uniform magnetic field perpendicular to the plane of the c
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

The induced current in the coil at the time 2 s is 0.00263 A

Explanation:

The equation for induced emf is equal to:

\epsilon =-\frac{d}{dt} (BAcos\theta )

Where

B = magnetic field

A = area

θ = angle

\epsilon =-Acos0\frac{d}{dt} B\\\epsilon =-(\pi r^{2} )\frac{d}{dt} (0.5e^{-0.2t} )\\\epsilon =0.1 (\pi r^{2} )e^{-0.2t}

For t = 2 s

\epsilon =0.1*\pi *0.05^{2} *e^{-0.2*2} =5.26x10^{-4} V

The induced current is:

I=\frac{\epsilo }{R} =\frac{5.26x10^{-4} }{0.2} =0.00263A

Find a numerical value for ρearth, the average density of the earth in kilograms per cubic meter. use 6378km for the radius of t
Andre45 [30]

Answer:

5501 kg/m^3

Explanation:

The value of g at the Earth's surface is

g=\frac{GM}{R^2}=9.70 m/s^2

where G is the gravitational constant

M is the Earth's mass

R=6378km = 6.378 \cdot 10^6 m is the Earth's radius

Solving the formula for M, we find the value of the Earth's mass:

M=\frac{gR^2}{G}=\frac{(9.81 m/s^2)(6.378\cdot 10^6 m)^2}{6.67\cdot 10^{-11}}=5.98\cdot 10^{24}kg

The Earth's volume is (approximating the Earth to a perfect sphere)

V=\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3 = \frac{4}{3}\pi (6.378\cdot 10^6 m)^3=1.087\cdot 10^{21} m^3

So, the average density of the Earth is

\rho = \frac{M}{V}=\frac{5.98\cdot 10^{24} kg}{1.087\cdot 10^{21} m^3}=5501 kg/m^3

Help, please! Thank you for your kind gesture
blagie [28]

Answer:

The last option.

Explanation:

Since you are going down, the gravitational potential energy would go down too. Thus, the gravitational potential energy decreases.

Since the gravitational potential energy is converted to kinetic energy when you move down, there is an increase in kinetic energy.
