Why do some kids continue to hang around a group that treats them badly?

Some kids continue to hang out around with a group that treats them badly because of an emotional attachment as well as being too scared of leaving them, possibly knowing that they dont have anyone else to turn to/hang out with and believing that what they are doing is ok also the group that treats them badly may manipulate the kids by apologising yet still carrying on with the same bad actions. An advice i would give to someone i know who was doing this is being supportive and patient as the person/people may find it hard to remove themselves from those sort of people, i would also ask why they are still hanging out with that group of friends and depending on the answer i would advice them and be there for them (e.g they stay with the group that treats them badly because they have been friends for many years and have no one else so what i would do is let them know that i am here and they can always hang out with me and my friends or just come to me if they aren’t ok/needs someone to talk to)

i hope that helps and answers those questions

Answer:

Kids tend to hang aroung people they fit in with or people they WANT to fit in with. It an also get to the point where someone simply believes everything they are being told...and begins to think they deserve it.

Explanation:

I have had this convorsation several times before, the bottom line is..you deserve better. If your scared that this is just life and everyone will treat you like this, you're wrong. Not everyone will abuse you, not everyone will cheat on you and lie to you. Not everryone will make you feel like absolute dukey.  Not everyone will be manipulative and selfish. It may be rare but there are genuine good people out there. They exist, and you dont have to settle...You are not a back up plan, you are worth more than someone elses 'second choice'. Stay away from half a/ss things. Has a/ss effort...half a/ss people...half a/ss love...because YOU deserve better <3

Compare the characters of Hedda Gabler and Daisy Miller: A Study. Both are the inventions of realist writers, but which is more
Dennis_Churaev [7]

In my view Hedda Gabbler is the most morally ambiguous between the two. Allow me to compare the two characters in order to clarify my views. Hedda Gabbler is an older Norwegian housewife of upper-*Middle class who chose to marry because she was starting to grow older. Her motivations are not always clear and sometimes it seems as though she suffers some kind of mental illness. Also, the etymology of her name is quite revelatory, her name comes from " the Germanic name Hadewig, derived from the Germanic elements hadu "battle, combat" and wig "war" (https://www.behindthename.com/name/hedwig). Hedda is obviously in conflict with the patriarchal society of her time and she aims to not only be in command of her own destiny but also to control her husband. She kills herself in order to deny the power of a man over her. Even in her death she is defiant. Daisy Miller on the other hand is a very young adult and rich American who loves Europe and its ways. She is naive and innocent and her behavior is not as vindictive as the behavior of Hedda Gabbler. Daisy is in opposition to the conservative and patriarchal views of society more because of her exposition ot European cultures and less due to a conscious realization of her condition. Her name is the name of a flower and her death is also symbolic as she dies from malaria. Flowers die during winter and Daisy's winter is the disease that kills her. She is more a victim than a proto-feminist.

America the Not-So-Beautiful
Temka [501]

Answer:

A The author uses loaded language when he says, “Some of the things we're throwing away are poisoning the Earth and will eventually poison all of us and all living things,”

Explanation:

According to the excerpt from America the Not-So-Beautiful by Andrew A. Rooney, the author talks about the dangers of improperly disposing waste. He tries to convince Americans that they should dispose of their waste properly.

The author uses loaded language to convey his point of view about throwing things away by saying that Americans are "wasteful and we don't want to fix anything, so if something is broken we will just buy a new one". He also says that some of the things "we're throwing away are poisoning the Earth and will eventually poison all of us and all living things".

Loaded language is a type of rhetoric that is used to have an impact on an audience by triggering an emotional response by using strong words or phrases.
