Ms.Sim traveled to 42 countries in 60 days.At this rate,how many countries would he travel to in 40 days?

42/60=x/40 so cross multiply
42x40=1680
60x=1680
÷60 ÷60
x=28 countries

this is right out of my notes how it was taught so i hope its right or shame on my teacher lol

x = 42 x 40 / 60
