Madam C. J. Walker <em>(who was originally Sarah Breedlove)</em> was a philanthropist, social activist and entrepreneur, a self made citizen who after suffering herself from hair loss related issues, invented hair care products and produced cosmetics targeted mainly to American Women and specially slave descendants around the industrial age; her products inspired and helped improve the lives of many Americans around that time.
