Hello!

One solution to this problem would be to run the water into a plant in which in can pass though and it is able to be cleaned from the people trash and the saltiness. Another solution is to clear all the trees within a certain area and to put fencing around the rive as well.

I hope it helps!

Colorado river crosses from the US into Mexico. Its water is diverted to irrigate the Mexicali Valley, one of Mexico's most fertile agricultural lands. This diversion and other dam projects significantly reduce the flow and has severe ecological consequences in the Colorado River Delta and the Gulf of California. Multiple US states and the federal govt work together with the Mexican govt to negotiate an agreement. Known as Minute 319, it permits Mexico storage of its water allotment in U.S. reservoirs during wet years.

Carlos has an appointment with Higuain in a half hour at his office. However, Carlos decides to take care of some personal erran
serious [3.7K]

Answer:

D. polychronic culture.

Explanation:

Carlos is from a polychronic culture because he does multiple things at the same time. We can see that on his way to a meeting, he is running errands. That is to say, Carlos is using s specific time for various activities. If Carlos were from a monochronic culture, he would run his errands after or before the meeting. Besides, his trip to the office will be without any stops in other places because he would be dedicating a specific time to every activity he does.

In a high context culture, the communication is mostly implicit. There is a lot of information that the listener takes from voice tone, movements, and expressions. The person has to interpret the message.

In a low context culture, the communication is explicit and very clear. The listener does not have to interpret the message. It is not related to the context as in high context culture, what the speaker said with the focus on the meaning of every word in the message is what he/she meant.

What did General McClellan’s Army of the Potomac try to achieve with the Peninsula Campaign?
fenix001 [56]

General McClellan’s Army of the Potomac tried to capture the Confederate capital, Richmond through the Peninsula Campaign.

Answer: Option A

Explanation:

General George McClellan, the commander of the army of the Union had a not so clear plan of capturing the Confederate capital. In his attempt to do that, his troops successfully crossed the James River without much reluctance. Once they crossed it, they fought a small battle with a troop of the Confederate army and won.

The Union army troops were surprised by the minor resistance of the Confederate army. But soon after they won their first battle after crossing River James, they had to face a massive surprise attack from the troops led by General Johnston. At last, General McClellan lost this battle after heavy casualties on his side.
