Why did roman overthrow their last king

Superbus was the name of the last Roman King. He gained the throne through violent means and began to rule Rome in  the same violent style. He was a Tyrant that pronounced himself supreme judge of Rome and would take possessions of any person by creating a case against them then judging the case himself and finding them guilty.

Due to this , people lived in fear and hated him and wanted to get rid of him. One day while Superbus was away on a military campaign, he was overthrown by a man named Lucius Brutus with the support of the nobles, the people,  and the army.
