= 1 / 3 + 5 / 6                    LCM = 6

= 1/3 * (2/2)  + 5 / 6

= 2 / 6 + 5 / 6

= (2 + 5 ) / 6

= 7 / 6

= 7 / 6  or  1 and  1 / 6

What is the equation of the line????????
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

y=1/2x+2

Step-by-step explanation:

The equations come in the form of y=mx+c, where m is the gradient and c is the y-intercept. Looking at the graph we know that the y-intercept is (0,2), so that rules out options B and C.

To find the gradient is a little more tricky, but we can follow the formula:

\frac{rise}{run}, where rise is the vertical value and run is the horizontal value

So we sub in our values:

\frac{2}{4}

And simplify:

\frac{1}{2}

So now we sub in our new found values into y=mx+c:

y=1/2x+2

PLEASE HELP! Find the distance between each pair of points. Round your answers to the nearest tenth.
strojnjashka [21]
A.
Distance = \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^2+(y_2 - y_1)^2}\\\\  = \sqrt{\left( -4 - \left( -5 \right) \right)^2 + \left( -2 - \left( -3 \right) \right)^2} \\ \\  = \sqrt{ 1 + 1} \\ \\ = \sqrt{ 2 }

b.
Distance = \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^2+(y_2 - y_1)^2}\\\\ = \sqrt{\left( -4 - \frac{ 7 }{ 2 } \right)^2 + \left( \frac{ 5 }{ 2 } - 1 \right)^2} \\  \\= \sqrt{ \frac{ 225 }{ 4 } + \frac{ 9 }{ 4 }} \\ \\=  3 \frac{\sqrt{ 26 }}{ 2 }

Answer and Step-by-step explanation:

The answer is 5 units, or B.

This is because the slope of the lines between A and C is 2.5, and it goes 2.5 units twice.
