Hey!

Line EA measures 12 inches. Line EH is 2 times as long as line EA. That means you have to multiply the length of line EA by 2 to get the length of EH.

Line EA = 12 inches

12 \times 2 = 24

That means the length of line EH is 24 inches

\framebox{Answer = 24 inches, which is the 2nd choice}

Hi!

Because A is the midpoint of EH, we know that EH = EA·2

Solve

EH = 12·2

EH = 24

The answer is 24 in.

Hope this helps! :)

A country is considering two income tax rates. Geoffrey is comparing what his tax bill would be under each plan. Under plan A, h
Nataliya [291]
The total tax rate for each plan is computed below:
Plan A= [5%(10000)]+[10%(85000)]+[(15%(3000)]
Plan A= $9450
For Plan B, tax is computed at 10% across all earnings
Plan B= 10%x(98000)
Plan B= $9800
Difference = Plan B-Plan A=($9800-$9450)
                   = $350
From the computed tax rate in each plan. Plan B will pay $350 more than Plan A.
