Stress itself is caused when we have to deal with something we don't feel we are physically or emotionally able to handle and an example of a stressor could be a big test, or moving to a new city.

How this comes into play is when we have to deal with one of these stressors, we go through a stress response commonly known as fight or flight. You act differently depending on the stressor, but you analyize the situation and then your body and mind decide if you can stay and deal with the threat or if you should leave to avoid it. Keep in mind that this is a very primal thing and is triggered by tons of stuff, but most of the time it is a false alarm; an example could be the test anxiety some people feel which is not an actual physical threat, but sometimes yur mind will treat it as one.

To prevent the passive smoking and public nuisance, government has brought new laws. These laws enacted has restricted individuals or a group to refrain from committing this deed.

<u>Alcohol:</u>

i) Age limit- An individual is allowed to buy any alcoholic drink if only he/she has crossed the age of 21 years.

ii) BAC limit- Blood alcohol concentration is an mirror of the amount of alcohol the individual is under the influence of. This level is measured by an apparatus and the level above 0.08 makes the individual to drive on road. If found the act is punishable by law.

<u>Tobacco:</u>

i) Age limit- An individual is allowed to buy cigarettes or any other tobacco products if only he/she has crossed the age of 21 years.

ii) Banning smoking in public spaces- Many states in U.S. has joined hands to make sure that every individuals right to get access of clean smoke free air is fulfilled. It is banned in many states to smoke in public place such as offices, restaurants, parks, etc.
