propose to study sediments that will tell them about conditions in the ocean before the breakup of Pangea, which began 200 million years ago. You quickly see something wrong with the proposal and recommend it not be funded. Why is this proposed study not possible?

Answer:

Because Pangaea has started 200 million years ago

Explanation.

In the proposal, they stated that they want to study the sediments before the break of Pangaea , the break of pangaea began 200 million years ago, the process and method of study is dependent on the fact that Pangaea has not broken, but further reading , it is clear that it has started 200 million years ago, then obviously ,since the break has started 200 millions year ago, they must have had great impact on the sediments that the researcher wants to use to carry out the research.

The methodology is the error and that is why the proposed study is not possible as Pangaea as already started breaking since 200 million years ago.

Which of these people is known as bringing the Jewish people together to form the Israelite kingdom?
Evgen [1.6K]
The correct answer to your question is Abraham. I believe this because Moses was the one who took the Israelis out of slavery from the Egyptians hands with the helps of God. David was the second king of the Israelis so he couldn't be the founder of them. Solomon was the son son of David so he could not be the founder.

Hope this helps! God bless

What do you think would happen to urine volume if you did not add adh to the collecting duct?
TiliK225 [7]

The urine volume would increase if ADH was not added to the collecting duct.

What effect did the addition of ADH have on urine volume?

 • Your response: ADH has the greatest influence on urine volume. When ADH was added, the urine volume decreased dramatically from 201 ml to 16 ml from the baseline value. This is due to ADH increasing the amount of water reabsorbed in the distal tubule, resulting in a decrease in urine volume.
 • ADH increases the permeability of the distal convoluted tubule and collecting duct to water, which are normally impermeable. This effect increases water reabsorption and retention while decreasing urine volume relative to ion content.
 • Antidiuretic hormone binds to receptors on cells in the kidney's collecting ducts and promotes water reabsorption back into the circulation. In the absence of antidiuretic hormone, the collecting ducts are nearly impermeable to water, which drains as urine.
 • Diabetes insipidus is caused by a lack of ADH, also known as vasopressin (VP). Polyuria, dehydration, and thirst are the clinical signs. This condition usually develops because the pituitary gland's posterior lobe no longer produces enough ADH.
