Answer:

The correct answer will be- two daughter cells

Explanation:

Non-disjunction is the process which leads to the formation of daughter cells with an abnormal number of chromosomes during meiosis.  The non-disjunction occurs due to the failure of the separation of the homologous chromosomes during anaphase I or anaphase II.

If meiosis takes place during anaphase I of meiosis I and completes meiosis II then it will result in the formation of the two daughter cells with on extra copy of the chromosome while two cells with one copy of the chromosomes which result in a formation of monosomic cells.

Thus, two daughter cells are the correct answer.

Diatoms have cell walls composed of _____.
BlackZzzverrR [31]

The correct answer is a - silicon dioxide.

Diatoms are single celled algae. They have a silica - based cell wall called a frustule, which gives each diatom a particular shape.

Diatoms exist as separate single cells although some may be found in groups or colonies. The ones found in colonies create very pretty forms: leaf shaped, oval , star and even like a period.

Outer shells of diatoms are quite valuable. They are used in industry in the manufacture of toothpaste to give it grit.

DNA sequences can act as "tape measures of evolution". Some highly conserved regions of the human genome (similar to comparable
Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Explanation:

The DNA contains many regulatory sequences that are very important, even though they do not code for proteins.

For example, the expression of every gene is regulated by a region called the Promoter. The promoter sequence, located close by the coding region of the gene, usually binds the RNA polymerase (the enzyme that transcribes genes into mRNA) as well as other proteins necessary for transcription,

The promoter sequence, thus, does not itself code for proteins, but is essential for transcription and must be highly conserved so that the RNA polymerase can find it.
