Use the trigonometric ratio sin A = 0.38 to determine which angle of the triangle is < A
-Dominant- [34]
According to trigonometric the formula for sin is sin = opposite/hypotenuse.Sin is defined as the ratio of sides of a right angled triangle.Hypotenuse is the is the longest side of a right-angled triangle,which is the side opposite of the right angle.So the the hypotenuse is clearly 1.3, so you divide 0.5/1.3 Hence the answer is around 0.38 The result is Angle2..

What is the area of this composite figure? A figure is comprised of 1 rectangle and 2 triangles. The rectangle has a length of 1
Galina-37 [17]

Answer:

 256 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of the rectangle is the product of its length and width.

 A = (16 cm)(10 cm) = 160 cm^2

The area of each triangle is half the product of its base and height.

 A = (1/2)(16 cm)(6 cm) = 48 cm^2

__

Then the area of the rectangle and 2 triangles is ...

 160 cm^2 + 2(48 cm^2) = 256 cm^2

The area of the composite figure is 256 cm^2.
