Answer:

B). Yes, by stating: “…white men have an equality resulting from a presence of a lower caste, which cannot exist where white men fill the position here occupied by the servile race.”

Explanation:

Counterclaim is illustrated as the claims that are primarily inclined towards denying the previous claim made by the author. It assists the author to provide both the sides of the argument and establish his/her credibility. However, the counterclaims are required to be addressed appropriately through relevant evidence to establish the central claim and its validity or else it may affect the efficacy of the idea or claim.

In the given question, Davis directly addresses the counterclaim as he includes the quotation by 'Senator Seward' to refute the counterclaim that assists to establish the legitimacy of his claim and authenticate his claim. Thus, option B is the correct answer.

victus00 [196]

Answer:

The answer is

Explanation:

Heavy rain causes floods every year. In some of the other countries there are floods. How can we prevent them? Well there is no way to prevent heavy rain, because they are natural disasters. But these heavy rains can also be harmful. For example acid rain is caused due to the global warming. Acid rains can destroy a lot of natural habitat, monuments and buildings. So we cannot prevent them. But remember, if you don't use too much chemicals, then we can save rain water and use it for additional purposes.

Hope this helps....
