Water can be polluted both directly and indirectly. Direct pollution would like from a factory while indirect would be contaminated water that entered the water supply through evaporation and rain or runoffs.
When given an assessment it allows the person to get a glimpse about the peer based on the info provided by them and in doing so it'd would probably provide a mental picture of the person in their head.
