Two mountain ranges, the Alps and the Apennines, helped to protect Rome from invasion. ... Any army attempting to attack Rome would be at risk of attack from the other side of the mountains. The Alps, located on the northern border of modern-day Italy, seal off the peninsula from the rest of Europe during winter.

Explain what the iceberg principle should mean to the marketing manager?
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

The Iceberg Principle states that we can not always see or detect most data that pertains to a specific situation. I believe that - to a marketing manager - this should mean that they can not always gather all the data or predict everything about a situation, instead they must use the data that they do have in order to make the most informed decision possible for achieving their goals.

Why are scientific journals considered more reliable sources than web pages for information about science?
fgiga [73]
This is probably because scientific journals get cross-referenced and peer-reviewed by other mainstream scientific organizations whereas a regular webpage can tell you just about anything without anything to back it up. Their credibility isn't as high.
