Hello, we know that for a and b real numbers

a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b)

So,

(2a-b)^2-(a-2b)^2=(2a-b-a+2b)(2a-b+a-2b)\\\\=(a+b)(3a-3b)\\\\\boxed{=3(a+b)(a-b)}

Thank you.

To complete a task in 15 days a company needs 4 people each working for 8 hours per day. the company decides to have 5 people ea
Lilit [14]
It would take 16 days
explanation
if it takes 15 for 4 people to work 8 hours to complete the task, it would be a total of 480 hours. I multiplied 15x4x8. i multiplied 5x6 to get 30. I have to find the third value so i divided 30 from 480 to get 16.

What is the length of XY?
xeze [42]

Answer:

( C ) 20 inch

Step-by-step explanation:

AB=28 inch ( given )

AP=26 inch ( given )

since that xy bisects and its perpendicular to AB and CD

then AX=48/2 = 24 inch

so by using Pythagoras theorem

then  26 squared - 24 squared = 10 inch

so XD+YD= 10 +10 =20 inch

The function h(t) = –16t^2 + 16t + 32 models the height of a ball t seconds after it was thrown into the air. How long does it t
storchak [24]
When the ball hits the ground, h will be 0 so set up the equation
-16t^2+16t+32=0
divide all by -16 to simply the equation
t^2-t-2=0
(t-2)(t+1)=0
t=2 t=-1
you can’t have -1 second
so the answer is it takes 2 seconds for the ball to hit the ground
