<span>The question pretty much explains it. Remember that pi is the ratio of the circumference to diameter and has the approximate value of 3.14159.... And you've been given a radius of 2.2. Since the diameter is twice the radius, that means that the diameter is 2.2*2 = 4.4, so the total circumference is 4.4 times pi. The value of 13.82 is the actual circumference, but remember the question "... in terms of pi" So the answer is 4.4</span>

Each of 16 store cashiers worked an average of 21 hours per week and are paid $8.25 per hour. After the store manager hires 2 ad
Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer:

<u>$211.50</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

Initially:

21 hours per week at 8.25 per hours means:

21 * 8.25 = 173.25 dollars per person

16 person = 16 * 173.25 = $2772 (total)

2nd phase:

2 more cashier = 16 + 2 = 18 cashiers

Per hour 0.25 more, so 8.25 + 0.25 = $8.50 per hour

1.5 hrs less than 21, so 21 - 1.5 = 19.5 hours

Hence,

18 * 19.5 * 8.50 = $2983.50 (new total)

Change in money paid = 2983.50 - 2772 = $211.50

Bethanie's daily drive to work involves driving through some steep terrain. She came up with the following graph to model her el
shtirl [24]

Answer:

Option D.

Step-by-step explanation:

-If the attached graph shows the distance above sea level to which Bethanie's leads as a function of time, then we can observe that after having elapsed 8 minutes Bethanie's is a distance of 0 from sea level.

The graph shows that the value of B(t) is always less than 1 during the 8 minutes of travel.

-On the other hand, the function M(t) = t ^ 3-6t ^ 2 + 11t-6 that models the distance above sea level that Mike drives as a function of time, shows us that after 3 minutes the distance M(t) begins to increase rapidly until at t = 8 minutes:

M(t) = 8 ^ 3 -6 (8) ^ 2 +11 (t) -6 = 210.

Therefore the correct option is D

The person who leads to the highest elevation is Mike.
