Some characteristics of living things that a car has is that it can move around, it takes in liquid to break down to use, and it puts out carbon dioxide. The characteristics of living things can be used to show that a car is not living because living things can be broken down by other living things, they also can think for themselves, and can move without something controlling them. (Plants can too, but very slowly.)
