First, divide the shape into two shapes: the trapezoid on the very top and the large rectangle that makes up most of the bottom. Then, find the area of each, and add them together for the total area.

Trapezoid:

A=0.5(b1+b2)h

A=0.5(7+14)5

A=0.5(21)5

A=52.5

Rectangle:

A=lw

A=12(14)

A=168

52.5+168=220.5

The area is 220.5 square feet.

Hope this helps!!
