Answer:

5-methylhex-1-yne//5-methylhex-2-yne//2-methylhex-3-yne

Explanation:

We have to start with the information on the <u>IR spectrum</u>. The signal at 3300 is due to a <u>C-H bend sp carbon</u> and the signal in 2200 is due to the <u>stretch carbon-carbon</u>. Therefore we will have an alkyne. Now if we have 2-methylhexane as the product of hydrogenation we have <u>several options to put the triple bond</u>. Between carbons 1 and 2 (5-methylhex-1-yne), between carbons 2 and 3 (5-methylhex-2-yne) and between carbons 3 and 4 (2-methylhex-3-yne). On carbon 5 we have a tertiary carbon therefore we dont have any other options.

There are 64 pretzels in a 16-ounce bag how many proportion would be in a 5-ounce bag?
qwelly [4]

Answer:

20 pretzels.

Explanation:

So in the first bag there at 64 pretzels in 16-ounces.

We can divide both these numbers by 16, to get 4 pretzels per ounce.

If we multiply both numbers by 5, we get 20 pretzels per ounces.

So, 20 pretzels i5-ounce bag.

The enthalpy of vaporization for water is 40.67 kJ/mol and the enthalpy of fusion for water is
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

\Delta H_{dep}=-46.68kJ/mol

Explanation:

Hello!

In this case, since vaporization is the processes by which a liquid goes to the gas phase, fusion by which a solid goes to liquid and deposition by which a gas goes to solid; we infer that the following set up relates the enthalpies associated to each process:

\Delta H_{fus}+\Delta H_{vap}=-\Delta H_{dep}

Because deposition goes from a state with more energy to a state with less energy, therefore it is negative; in such a way, by plugging in we obtain:

\Delta H_{dep}=-(\Delta H_{fus}+\Delta H_{vap})\\\\\Delta H_{dep}=-(6.01kJ/mol+40.67kJ/mol)\\\\\Delta H_{dep}=-46.68kJ/mol

Best regards!

1. How many milliliters of a 0.184 M NaNO3 solution contain 0.113 moles of NaNO3?ans:614 mL
Gemiola [76]
C=0.184 mol/L
n=0.113 mol

n=CV

V=n/C

V=0.113/0.184=0.614 L = 614 mL
