The line ''have an apple'' is there in the poem to break dream-like play and playful tone of the poem because it is there to move on to the rhetorical questions that author will be using in the poem.  ''Shall I move?''

Author is talking about dream-like state of mind that he is in.

This poem has the meaning of author's state of mind which is dream-like and he is enjoying in it.
