Measures taken by groups such as the United Nations to try to prevent genocide following World War II included making the crime of genocide punishable under international law. The United Nations approved its Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (CPPCG) in 1948 which was later on ratified by more than 130 countries. However, this did not prevent future genocides such as in Yugoslavia and Rwanda
One major difference is Jesus’s role. In Christianity, Jesus is the main figure that the entire religion revolves around, while in Islam, he is a minor figure. Another difference is that Islam revolves around the people of Saudi Arabia’s culture and heritage, while Christianity primarily started in the U.S.. In Christianity, it is taught that Jesus is the Son of God, while in Islam, Jesus only was a prophet. In fact, Muslims believe that Jesus was created in a similar method that Adam was.
