I think the answer would be no. We create computers so we can do the problems ourselves. maybe eventually the asnwer will be yes, but for now i think they just solve equations quicker than the average human brain. hope this helps!
The Answer is that the present value of $100 is $100. Because this $100 dollar is deposited today so the time is equal to zero and when time is zero the value of amount is the value of amount itself.
It's just like multiplying and dividing a negative, such as -1 *2=-2 and -2 / 1= -1
if there is one negative then it will be negative, so in this case it will be -7 / 2=
answer= -3 1/2
