Answer:

7,13,37,55,103

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 5 + 2x^2

if x =1

y = 5 + 2(1)^2

1^2 = 1

2 x 1 = 2

y=5 + 2 or y = 7

you substatute each one in for x to solve for y

7- square root of 3i
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Step-by-step explanation:

Any complex number is of the form: a + bi where a is real part and B is imaginary part.

Therefore, in given complex number: 7- \sqrt {3}i

7 is real part.

\sqrt {3} is imaginary part.

Hence, first two options are correct.

Last two options are incorrect because of the following reasons:

- \sqrt {3} is coefficient of i & not 7- \sqrt {3}

Given number is a difference of a real number and imaginary number & not a sum of a real number and imaginary number.

. Let A = {x: x ϵ R, x2 – 5x + 6 = 0 } and B = { x: x ϵ R, x2 = 9}. Find A intersection B and A union B
AysviL [449]

x^2 – 5x + 6 = 0\\x^2-2x-3x+6=0\\x(x-2)-3(x-2)=0\\(x-3)(x-2)=0\\x=3 \vee x=2\\A=\{-2,3\}\\\\x^2=9\\x=-3 \vee x=3\\B=\{-3,3\}\\\\A\cap B=\{3\}\\A\cup B=\{-3,-2,3\}
