Answer:

Japan’s primary goal in invading Manchuria was to acquire the region’s most abundant natural resources: oil, coal, rubber, iron, lumber, soybeans, salt, and land.

Explanation:

Japan’s primary goal in invading Manchuria was to acquire the region’s abundant natural resources, and use its land which was not heavily populated. Although Japan’s industry was highly developed, its land was densely populated and lacked sufficient natural resources. In order to improve its economic situation, Japan invaded Manchuria and coveted natural resources such as oil, coal, rubber, iron, lumber, soybeans, salt, and land.

What is meant by Vertical integration? Do you think this is an ethical practice?

Mama L [17]
Vertical integration means buying out the supplier. I think it is un-ethical because even when doing business we should include morals. Instead of winning your competition (other business) through not even letting them participate in the beginning you should play fair and let them have a chance in getting supplies

Which of the following was NOT a cause of popular dissatisfaction with the Roman Catholic Church in the early fifteenth century?
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

D) increasing austerity and the use of the vernacular within the Church

Explanation:

Pope austerity remains the same, and the controlling over mind and body didn't change, likewise, the use of Latin (not the vernacular language) remains the official language during the cults. The main reason for the dissatisfaction with the Church was related to the fiscal practices and the sale of indulgences by the Pope. In other words, the Church loses its mojo.
