Around what time (how many days) do rabbits give birth after they start nesting? My rabbit started nesting about 4 days ago and

we are still waiting for her to deliver.

Answer:

It takes about at least 31 days for female rabbits to be considered 8 months pregnant. Although the minimum time for a rabbit to give birth after is 2 days. It depends.

Answer: If she has pulled fur and is making a nest, you should expect kits in the next week or so. Some will make a nest a few days before giving birth, while others will do it a week or longer before.  

Explanation:

 You could wait a month , then get the female spayed. If she is pregnant, wait until the kits are 8 weeks old to separate them from the doe, then get her spayed. Once both adults are fixed and healed (about 2-3 weeks after the surgery), they can be rebonded without the risk of pregnancy.
