Area of triangle , when 3 sides are given , we may use "Heron's formula"

Given :

a=7

b=8

c=10

So , semi peremeter =

$s = \frac{7 + 8 + 10}{2}$

$s = \frac{25}{2}$

$s = 12.5$

$area = \sqrt{12.5(12.5 - 7)(12.5 - 8)(12.5 - 10)}$

$area = \sqrt{12.5(5.5)(4.5)(2.5)}$

$area = \sqrt{68.5 \times 11.25}$

$area = \sqrt{770.625}$

$area \: = 27.7601 {units}^{2}$
