Answer:

No, This is not reasonable estimate.

Step-by-step explanation:

Charles wants to take out a 5 year loan on car that cost $15000.

He make rough estimate to make payment. He can afford to pay up to $200 per month.

First we find total number of months in 5 years.

Total months = 5x12= 60 months

Total estimate to pay = 60\times 200 =$12000

we can see cost of a car $15,000 is greater than his estimation $12,000.

Therefore, Charles estimation will not work.

No, This is not reasonable estimate.

PLEASE HELP ME!! I GAVE ALL MY POINTS! EXPLAIN IF POSSIBLE
SpyIntel [72]

Answer:

  • 10 mice left after 5 years

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>The function is given:</u>

  • f(x) = 5719(0.28)ˣ
  • f(x) is the number of mice left after x years, 5719 is initial number of mice (now) and x is the number of years from now

<u>Substitute x with 5 for 5 years and find the value of the function.</u>

  • f(5) = 5719(0.28)⁵ = 10 (rounded up to the integer number)
  • Multiply 5719 by 0.28 to the 5th power to get approximate number of 10

There will be 10 mice left after 5 years

Jasmine reduced the size of a triangle to a height of 4 in. What is the new width if it was originally 12 in wide and 16 in tall
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

The new width is 3 in.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use the ratio of w/h, the origal width and height should have the same ratio as the new width and height.

<u>12 </u>= <u>x</u>

16    4

Then solve for x:

x = 4 (12/16)

x = 3

To check:

12/16 = 3/4

3/4 = 3/4
