Answer:

Process capability Ratio:

Cp=USL-LSL/6sigma

Where, USL= upper specific limit

LSL= lower specific limit

Sigma= standard deviation.

Given, USL=2600, LSL=1700, Sigma =120

So,

Cp = (2600-1700)/6*120

Cp =1.25

As Cp is good in range between 1.1 to 1.3

The process is good and is capable of producing DRAM chips

Calculate Cpk (Process Capability Index)

Here, mean =2000

Cok=min ((2600-2000)/3* 120, (2000-1700)/3*120)

Cpk=min (1.66,0.83)

Cpk=0.83

As Cpk is less than 1, the process does not meet the requirement

Answer: a.)Cp= 1.25 ; b.) process is very capable ; c.) 0.83 ; d.) does not meet requires specification.

Explanation:

Given the following ;

Average chip life = 2000 hours

Standard deviation = 120 hours

Tolerance upper specification limit = 2600 hours

Tolerance lower specification limit = 1700 hours

A.) process capability ratio (Cp) :

Cp = (Upper specification limit - Lower specification limit) ÷ 6(standard deviation)

Cp = (2600 - 1700) ÷ (6 × 120)

Cp = 900 ÷ 720 = 1.25

B.) Capability ratio of 1.25 demonstrated that it is very capable.

C.) process capability ratio index(Cpk) :

Mean (X) = (Upper specification limit(US) - Lower specification limit(LCL))

Mean(X) = 2000

Lower Cpk = (X - LSL) ÷ 3(standard deviation)

Lower Cpk = (2000 - 1700) ÷ (3 × 120)

Lower Cpk = 300 ÷ 360 = 0.83

Upper Cpk = (USL - X) ÷ (3 × Standard deviation)

Upper Cpk = (2600 - 2000) ÷(3×120)

Upper Cpk = 600 ÷ 360 = 1.67

Cpk = Minimum_of (Upper Cpk, Lower Cpk)

Cpk = Minimum_of (1.67,0.83)

Cpk = 0.83

D.) Cpk < 1.0, shows that it does not meet required specification.

RUDIKE [14]

Whenever Congress has a perceived need for ongoing control of economic activity, it has tended to create a cabinet department.

The Vice President and the secretaries of agriculture, commerce, defense, education, energy, health and human services, homeland security, housing and urban development, interior, labor, state, transportation, and veterans affairs make up the cabinet. Cabinets come in three varieties: inset, full overlay, and partial overlay. Each phrase refers to the way a cabinet door or drawer rests against or inside a cabinet frame. The three varieties of cabinets also stand for various price ranges and fashion trends. Such a division is frequently referred to as the Prime Minister's Office. Various other nations have cabinet offices.

The Prime Minister's Office is a division of the Cabinet Office in the United Kingdom; a similar division exists in Australia and New Zealand.

Use the following information to answer the question. There are three firms in an economy: X, Y, and Z. Firm X buys $200 worth o
Kamila [148]

Answer:

$2,775

Explanation:

The computation of the GDP of the economy is given below:

But before that the total value sold by three firms would be determined

Total amount of goods sold by X:

= X sells to Y + X sells to Z

= $150 + $75

= $225

Total amount of goods sold by Y:

= Y sells to X + Y sells to Z

= $200 + $50

= $250

Total amount of goods sold by Z:

= Z sells to X + Z sells to Y

= $300 + $250

= $550

Now

Amount of goods generated by X

= units of output × cost per unit

= 250 units ×  $4

= $1,000

Value of goods generated by Y

= units of output × cost per unit

= 300 units ×  $6

= $1,800

Value of goods generated by Z

= units of output × cost per unit

= 500 units ×  $2

= $1,000

Now GDP is

= [Goods generated by X - Valued added by X] + [Goods generated by Y - Value added by Y] + [Goods generated by Z - Value added by Z]

= [$1,000 - $225] + [$1,800 - $250] + [$1,000 - $550]

= $775 + $1,550 + $450

= $2,775

All of the following can be used as an allocation base for calculating factory overhead rates except a.direct labor hours b.mach
liq [111]

Answer:

The correct answer is C. Total units produced.

Explanation:

The following five bases are generally used in calculating the application rate of manufacturing overhead:

1. Production units

2. Direct material cost

3. Direct labor cost

4. Hours of direct labor

5. Machine hours

When he mentions the Production Units, he refers to the product or merchandise produced by the company, that is, what is intended for sale, in which this method is used is very simple, since the information on the units produced is readily available. to apply indirect manufacturing costs. It is based on the unit of finished product.
