Chris has $100 in his savings account and he adds $20 a month to the account. The total amount can be represented by the linear

function T = 20x + 100. His goal is to have a total of $300 in four more months. What should he change in the function to reach this goal?

You would have to plug 10 into x in t=20x+100. Because if you are trying to get $300 in all you would have to multiply 20×10 which is 200, then add the 100 which is 300 in all.

T=50x+100

50 times 4 equals 200 plus 100 will give you 300
