The answer is 36/49.

You take the second fraction and flip it (it will be 12/14) and you multiply straight across. You get 72/98. You simplify it by finding it's greatest common factor (in this case it is 2) so you divide it the numerator and the denominator by 2. You get 36/49.

The polynomial p(x)=(3-2x)(x^2-5) is graphed in a coordinate plane. Which statement about the graph is correct?
satela [25.4K]

Answer:

0 = (3-2x) x (x x 2 -5)

(3-2x) x ( x x 2 - 5) = 0

(3-2x) x (2x - 5) = 0

3 - 2x = 0

2x - 5 = 0

x = 3/2

x = 5/2

x1 = 3/2 or x2 = 5/2

The mean age of 9 women in an office is 27 years old.
Veronika [31]

26 to nearest year

We require the total of the sums of ages for both groups before calculating the mean for all 16

using mean = \frac{sum}{count}

Women

27 = \frac{sum }{9} ( cross- multiply )

sum = 9 × 27 = 243

Men

25 = \frac{sum}{7} ( cross- multiply )

sum = 7 × 25 = 175

Total sum of all 16 = 243 + 175 = 418

mean = \frac{418}{16} = 26 ( to nearest year )

Calculate the kinetic energy of a boy of mass 65kg running with average speed of 20m/s (3mks)
lesya692 [45]
<h3>Answer:  13000 joules</h3>

This is equivalent to 13 kilojoules.

=======================================================

Work Shown:

m = 65 kg = mass

v = 20 m/s = velocity

KE = kinetic energy

KE = (1/2)*m*v^2

KE = (1/2)*65*(20)^2

KE = 13000 joules

This can be written as 13 kilojoules since "kilo" means "1 thousand"

The abbreviation of the unit "joules" is the letter J.
