What types of erosion help create V-shaped valleys?
Lapatulllka [165]
V-shaped valley
As the river erodes downwards the sides of the valley are exposed to freeze-thaw weathering which loosens the rocks (some of which will fall into the river) and steepens the valley sides. The rocks which have fallen into the river help the process of corrasion and this leads to further erosion.

Think about how acids and bases would affect the water quality in the two lakes. which set of ph data would you expect to see ba
myrzilka [38]

Water first-rate has significantly laid low with the presence of acid and base within the water. So answer is lake a: ph = 6.6; lake b: ph = 6.8.

The water isn't always precise for fitness whilst its exceptionally acidic or exceptionally basic. If the pH of water is almost impartial, this water is nice for consuming purpose. In the choice 3, each lake A and lake B has pH almost impartial so this water reasons no awful impact at the fitness of the human body. Highly acid water has low water first-rate because of the presence of metals which adversely have an effect on our body.

What is pH of lake water ?

The pH degree of the water in rivers, lakes, and wetlands is critical to plant and animal life is 7.

Succession is the process of change in the biodiversity of an ecosystem over time. one type of succession is a process that brin
Vadim26 [7]
This would be primary succession. Primary succession is succession starting from bare rock. Succession may start with weathering of the rock to create small pockets of lose soil. Seeds of pioneer plants may be carried by the wind to fall into pockets of soil with sufficient moisture to allow germination. The growth of pioneer plants will further break up the bare rock, creating a deeper layer of soil. As the plants grow, dead leaves and roots enrich the soil with organic content. Small animals start to colonise the area, such as gophers, who further break up and enrich the soil. The plants change from pioneer plants to plants of a specific biome. Succession will continue in this fashion until until an equilibrium is achieved.
