But America got parted into Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador.

Further explanations:

Simon Bolivar a South American soldier was born on July 24 1783 in Caracas, Venezuela. He was brought up in a wealthy family owing gold and copper mines in Venezuela. He shifted to Spain in 1799 after his parents’ demise. He began his professional life as a tutor in Spain. Later he married Maria Rodriguez del Toro Y Alaysa in 1802.However she died in 1803 out of yellow fever, when they returned to Venezuela.

Bolivar then returned back to Europe and kept friendship with Napoleon. He then joined the resistance group established in Caracas who achieved independence in 1810.He travelled to Britain for a diplomatic mission and came back home to control the fight of Caracas, Venezuela and of South America. He and his follower attacked Venezuela on May 14, 1813 which pointed the onset of his campaign “Campana Admirable”. This caused the emergence of the Venezuelan Second, later that year. Soon Civil War erupted and he had to run off to Jamaica for foreign aid where he wrote his famous book “Letter from Jamaica”.

Bolivar died on 17 December, 1830 in Santa Marta, Colombia out of tuberculosis. Road bearing his name can be still found in Egypt, Australia and Turkey.
