<span>I'm not sure if there's such a thing as "the" best (general, I'm assuming) topology textbook. I learned the basics from the first (general) half of Munkres, which I liked. I found that later, when I took abstract real analysis, I really liked the concise but still relatively comprehensive treatment in Folland's text on real analysis (Chapter 4). Of course it's not Bourbaki's General Topology or anything, in terms of coverage, but I still really like it. Incidentally, I also like Bourbaki's General Topology (at least the first volume, which I'm more familiar with).

Let x and y be the angles
X= 3•y-8
X+ y = 180
Substitute first relationship in second
3y-8+y=180

X= 180-47=133 degrees
The measure of the large angle is
133 degrees

Answer:

  30°

Step-by-step explanation:

The relationship between triangle sides and angles can be remembered using the mnemonic SOH CAH TOA. Here, we're interested in the relationship involving the hypotenuse and the side opposite the angle:

  Sin = Opposite/Hypotenuse

For a ramp 1 m high and 2 m long, we have ...

  sin(x) = (1 m)/(2 m) = 1/2

  x = arcsin(1/2) = 30°

The elevation angle of the ramp needs to be 30°.
