Byzantine Empire established on the grounds of the Greek culture. Ancient Roman influenced by the Greek and considered them to be highly sophisticated culture and art. Greek became the language of Roman aristocrats. To the Byzantine People, Greek was chosen in place of Latin because of its high status in cultural domination in the region.
