Explanation: Mental strength is the ability of an individual to easily tune out distractions associated with pressures from outside sources of an individual. Despite the presence of those pressures or distractions the person is able stay calm and effectively carryout the task at hand. This mental strength or character can be developed over time by continously carry out a function we are maybe new to, facing our fears, also by proper preparation for a task at hand.

This mental strength has been developed overtime by Clay which allows him effectively play soccer despite the roar of the audience but Bruce being new to the game needs more experience to gain the ability to withstand pressure when it matters.
