I can name one such civilization : the Olmecs, they were the first known Mesoamerican civilization and they influenced the later civilizations in many ways.

First, Olmec Art is still visible in the art of Mayas and Aztecs: they influenced their art. For example, the Olmecs used Jade, just like the later civilisations.

then, Epi-Olmec script bears some resemblance to the Maya script, so Mayas likely adopted and developed the Olmec script.

Amanda works at a retail store in the mall. She has recently been promoted and now is in charge of opening and closing the store
Zarrin [17]

Answer: ethical lapse

Explanation:

An ethical lapse is an error or mistake in judgement that an individual commits which brings about a harmful outcome. It is usually as a result of an oversight as it really doesn't mean that the individual lacks integrity.

The scenario in the question is an ethical lapse. This is because the extra $25 she pocketed wasn't accounted for as it was an oversight and it wasn't that she intentionally stole the $25 or didn't account for it intentionally.

What motivated conquistadors to go to the Americas? Check all that apply.
stepladder [879]

Frankly, I think that the motives of the conquistador lies in their name.  These men wanted to conquer "the other," that which was in front of them.  They did not come in peaceful harmony.  Their motives were to conquer and capture that which existed in their path to extolling their own glory, and that of nation in a secondary capacity.  The Conquistador use of force through the military reveals that their motives were to control New lands and native populations.
