Listeners that are not able to look beyond the stated words and/or nonverbal cues of a speaker to understand the real meaning are called insensitive.

What is insensitive listening?

Dismissing the feelings and emotions of the other person and taking things at face value. Listeners have trouble showing sympathy and empathy because they rarely pick up on hidden meanings or subtle nonverbal indications.

Insensitive and poor listening can be harmful to all parties involved in the conversation since they can endanger relationships, contracts, and negotiations, and if the situation is overstated, they can even spark fights.

Insensitive listening can be quickly identified in direct interactions and interpersonal communication. To identify poor listening, we might observe eye contact, body language, and other nonverbal communication components. Recognizing inappropriate listening is more difficult to do with social media and digital marketing, though. For a deeper understanding, we must examine the statistics, the engagement rates, the feedback, brand monitoring, and social listening.

Why do you think the Civil Rights Act of 1964 did not passed earlier in the 1950s
dlinn [17]

In the 1950s the world was focused on other things. It was a post-war period in which two superpowers like the USA and the Soviet Union were disputing the supremacy of the world in what was called the cold war. In 1950 the Korean war started. The problem of Civil Rights was latent but international conflicts and the cold war distracted somehow the agenda of leaders and people.

What does the christmas tree symbolize in the bible
Softa [21]

Answer: That became a symbol of Christ — being triangular in shape it represents the trinity — and from there came the idea that the tree should be a symbol of Christ and new life," Dr Wilson said. "That's one of the main origins of the Christmas tree and bringing it into the house."
