DNA and RNA have completely different purposes in us. DNA stores and transfers genetic information (Eye and hair colour, skin colour, etc..). RNA codes amino acids and makes proteins. DNA is double stranded while RNA is single stranded. DNA uses adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine; while RNA uses adenine, cytosine, uracil, and guanine.

One kind of rock forms when other types of rock are changed due to extreme high temperatures
AlexFokin [52]

One kind of rock forms when other types of rock are changed due to extreme high temperatures is "metamorphic".

Explanation:

Rock cycle stands as geology's fundamental notion. This denotes transitions occurred in three primary rock kinds as: igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary. When extreme increased temperature and pressures are exposed on rocks then a new kind of rock is formed after chemical and physical reformation named as "metamorphic".

Basically there are two major metamorphism: regional and contact. Population of rocks are resulted from regional or dynamo thermal metamorphism. They were highly exposed to tectonic forces and related with high temperatures and pressures. Each type of rock is altered by being pulled out of its conditions of equilibrium.

Specialized lymphatic capillaries called lacteals are
Vlada [557]

Answer:

Necessary for the transport of dietary lipids. (Ans. C)

Explanation:

Lacteals are specialized lymphatic capillaries which helping in to absorb dietary fats that are present in the villi of the small intestine. With the help of bile, triglycerides is emulsified, and with the help of enzyme lipase, triglycerides is hydrolyzed, these (emulsified and hydrolyzed) results in the mixture of di, monoglycerides, and fatty acids.

The villi are finger shaped, and tiny in size which helping in to increase the surface area. Intestinal structure is known as lacteals which helps in the transport of glycerol, and fatty acids aside from the small intestine in the lymph.

Describe the unique anatomical features of cardiac muscle. What role does the unique structure of cardiac muscle play in its fun
erma4kov [3.2K]

Answer:

The cardiac muscle is made up of branched muscle cells, which have 1 or 2 nuclei and which the contact area between the heart fibers gives rise to specialized regions at the level of the plasma membrane called intercalary discs. The intercalary discs unite the cardiac muscle cells with each other, which provides greater adhesion to the tissue and intervenes in the rapid communication between cells. This allows its simultaneous contraction and the production of the beat.

Explanation:

The intercalary discs are the union systems that associate the cardiac muscle cells to form the myocardial fibers, the cardiac muscle is the muscle tissue of mixed components, which is located exclusively in the walls of the heart. For this reason, it has the function of generating the necessary contractions for the blood to reach all parts of the body. The intercalary discs are a special type of intercellular junction, a gap that guarantees electrical communication between these cells; and on the other hand, it provides places of adhesion and anchorage of one cell with another. The intercalary discs provide the structural foundation that allows the heart to behave as a functional syncytium.

Patrick the starfish has a pink body color which is dominant his wife for Trisha has a yellow body which is recessive they have
aleksandrvk [35]

Explanation:

Patrick is a heterozygous dominant (he have one allele for pink body color and one allele for yellow body color

His wife Trisha is homozygous recessive (she have two alleles for yellow body color)

When they mate their is a 50% chance that the offspring will has the dominant allele from his father and a 50% chance that the offspring will has the recessive allele from his father and his phenotype will be his father allele in both cases
