Ok so i just did 56/14 and got 4. So this means 14 goes into 56 4 times, so now i did 4 x 2 and got 8. So the answer is 8 free cones.

1) The center of a circle is at (-10,6) and it has a radius of 4. What is the equation of the circle?
krok68 [10]
1.   (x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²
 (x - (-10)) + (y - 6)² = 4²
  (x + 10)² + (y - 6)² = 16
The equation of the circle is (x + 10)² + (y - 6)² = 16.

2. The answer is A.

3. The equation of the parabola is y = ⁻⁵/₃₆x² - 1²/₃x - 2.

4. I don't know the answer to the problem.

aisha and brendan are watching a hot air balloon. the angle of elevation for aisha is 65 degrees. what is the angle of elevation
astra-53 [7]

Using the law of sins:

B =sin^−1((sin(A)⋅a)/b) = sin^−1((sin(65)⋅110)/155)=40.03 degrees

B= 40.03 degrees (round as needed)

Gravel is being dumped from a conveyor belt at a rate of 20 ft3/min, and its coarseness is such that it forms a pile in the shap
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]

Answer:

0.25 feet per minute

Step-by-step explanation:

Gravel is being dumped from a conveyor belt at a rate of 20 ft3/min. Since we are told that the shape formed is a cone, the rate of change of the volume of the cone.

\dfrac{dV}{dt}=20$ ft^3/min

\text{Volume of a cone}=\dfrac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h

Since base diameter = Height of the Cone

Radius of the Cone = h/2

Therefore,

\text{Volume of the cone}=\dfrac{\pi h}{3} (\dfrac{h}{2}) ^2 \\V=\dfrac{\pi h^3}{12}

\text{Rate of Change of the Volume}, \dfrac{dV}{dt}=\dfrac{3\pi h^2}{12}\dfrac{dh}{dt}

Therefore: \dfrac{3\pi h^2}{12}\dfrac{dh}{dt}=20

We want to determine how fast is the height of the pile is increasing when the pile is 10 feet high.

h=10$ feet$\\\\\dfrac{3\pi *10^2}{12}\dfrac{dh}{dt}=20\\25\pi \dfrac{dh}{dt}=20\\ \dfrac{dh}{dt}= \dfrac{20}{25\pi}\\ \dfrac{dh}{dt}=0.25$ feet per minute (to two decimal places.)

When the pile is 10 feet high, the height of the pile is increasing at a rate of 0.25 feet per minute
