Add or Subtract.
(−2^2 − 4 + 13) + (12^2 + 2 − 25)

(7^2 + 4 − 26) − (−7^2 − 3 + 15)
aleksklad [387]

Here is your answer

1. (−2^2 − 4 + 13) + (12^2 + 2 − 25)

= (4-4+13)+ (144+2-25)

[Note:- -2^2=(-2×-2)= +4]

= 13+ (146-25)

=13+121

= 134

2. (7^2 + 4 − 26) − (−7^2 − 3 + 15)

= (49+4-26) - (49-3+15)

= 49 +4 -26 -49 +3 -15

= 7-41

= -34

(3x^2)(4x)=12x^3 is 3x^2 a factor of 12x^3
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

(3x2 + 1) • (4x - 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation at the end of step 1 :

(((12 • (x3)) -  3x2) +  4x) -  1

Equation at the end of step 2 :

(((22•3x3) -  3x2) +  4x) -  1

Checking for a perfect cube :

12x3-3x2+4x-1 is not a perfect cube

Trying to factor by pulling out :

Factoring:  12x3-3x2+4x-1

Thoughtfully split the expression at hand into groups, each group having two terms :

Group 1:  4x-1

Group 2:  12x3-3x2

Pull out from each group separately :

Group 1:   (4x-1) • (1)

Group 2:   (4x-1) • (3x2)

              -------------------

Add up the two groups :

              (4x-1)  •  (3x2+1)

Final result :

(3x2 + 1) • (4x - 1)

A rectangle is 2 feet longer than it is wide. If the area is 8 square feet, find its perimeter.
MrMuchimi

Answer:

12 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

w = width

w+2 = length

w(w+2) = 8

w² + 2w - 8 = 0

(w+4)(w-2) = 0

w = -4 exclude because a length cannot be negative

w = 2

length = 2+2 or 4

P = 2(2)+2(4)

P = 4+8 or 12
