What would cause a person to have two copies of the bent thumb allele (tt)?
Nataliya [291]

Answer:

A person with two copies of "t" inherited one from their mother and one from their father

Explanation:

This is because both the father and the mother are carriers of "t" alleles which is a bent thumb. When the parent mate, the father donate one t and the mother too donate one t allele, therefore the person will inherit bent thumb from them.

In complete sentences, explain the path which blood travels in the heart, be sure to include the names of the chambers and major
ehidna [41]

First, deoxygenated blood flows into the right atrium of the heart from the inferior and superior vena cava.

Blood then flows through the bicuspid valve and into the right ventricle.

The blood then flows through the pulmonary valve and into the pulmonary artery. Arteries carry blood away from the heart while veins return blood to the heart. The pulmonary artery is on of the only arteries that carries deoxygenated blood.

Blood will then pass through the lungs and will be oxygenated.

After being oxygenated, the blood enters the pulmonary veins. The pulmonary veins are some of the only veins that carry oxygenated blood.

Blood enters back into the heart through the left atrium.

Then, blood flows into the left ventricle through the mitral valve.

Finally, blood is pumped through the aortic valve, into the aorta, and is distributed throughout the body.

Answer: Option C) The arrangement of atoms allows precise hydrogen bonding.

Explanation:

The individual hydrogen bonds between the base pairs confer stability to double helix of DNA.

The bases atoms take SPECIFIC POSITIONS or better still ARRANGEMENT, with Guanine pairing with Cytosine base atoms by three hydrogen bonds, while Adenine pair Thymine base atoms by two hydrogen bonds.

So, the arrangement of base atoms allows precise hydrogen bonding and hence STABILITY of DNA double helix.
