Answer:

14.95%

Explanation:

First we will determine the market risk premium which shall be calculated as follows:

Market risk premium=Expected annual return of market-Risk free return

In the given question

Expected annual return of market=13%

Risk free return=Return on T-Bonds=6.5%

Market risk premium=13%-6.5%=6.5%

Based on above Market risk premium, the firm required return shall be calculated as follows:

Firm required return=Risk free return+Beta*Market risk premium

                                   =6.5%+1.30*6.5%

                                   =14.95%

GDP excludes the value of goods produced at home. many items are counted twice or more in the intermediate stages of production.
Softa [21]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

GDP or gross domestic product value is a measure of the total value of all products and services produced within the boundaries of a country in a given time. It factors all products, regardless of who manufactures them, whether foreigners or locals, men or women. To avoid double-counting, GDP considers finished products only.

In calculating GDP, economists will deduct the cost of imports. The reason is that imports are produced in foreign countries. The value of GDP indicates whether the economy is expanding or contracting. An increase in GDP shows economic growth in the country. An increase in capital goods, human capital, labor force, technology,  contribute to economic growth.

Sever21 [200]

Answer:

$87,200

Explanation:

The computation of the total amount of merchandise purchase is shown below:

As we know that

Cost of goods sold = Beginning merchandise inventory + purchase of merchandise - ending merchandise inventory

$69,400 = $11,600 +  purchase of merchandise - $29,400

$69,400 = -$17,800 + purchase of merchandise

So, purchase value of merchandise is

= $69,400 + $17,800

= $87,200

Answer:

40%

Explanation:

Total assets. $240,000

Less total liabilities ($130,000)

$110,000

Less common stock ($24,000)

Retained earnings at end $86,0000

Less Retained earnings at the beginning ($29,000)

Addition to retained earnings $57,000

Add dividends $6,400

Net profit earned $63,400

Add expenses $94,000

Therefore, company's net profit margin expressed as a percentage = Net profit earned / Revenue
