Researchers conducted a study to determine whether there were significant differences in graduation rates between medical studen

ts admitted through special programs and medical students admitted through the regular admissions criteria. It was found that the graduation rate was 93% for the medical students admitted through special programs in all medical schools.
If 10 of the students admitted through special programs are randomly selected, find the probability that at least 9 of them graduated.

My math was p(9)+p(10)= 0.387+0.348=0.735
I keep getting it wrong and am at a total loss

In a linear programming graph, the best (optimal) solution always occurs at a point called what?
Sidana [21]
The correct answer is:

An extreme point.

Explanation:

An extreme point is also called a corner point.

An optimal solution to a linear program is the feasible (reasonable) solution with the largest value, for a maximization problem.

Since we want the largest value, the corner point of the solution set would be optimal.

One of the facts of linear programming is that every linear program has an extreme point that is an optimal solution.

HELP ME OUT PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEe
Aneli [31]

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 15× tan25° = 15×0.466 = 6.99 m

r (Hypotenuse) = 15/cos25° = 15/0.906

= 16.56m

the total height = 6.99+16.56 = 23.55 m
