Let s= Samaria, c= candy, and t= Sydney
Samara has 6 more than 3 times pieces of candy as Sydney.
s=6+3c
Samaria has 36 pieces of candy.
36=6+3c
Solve the equation.
Subtract 6 from both sides.
30=3c
Divide by 3
c=10
Sydney has 10 pieces of candy.

Hello there.

Question: <span>Samaria has 6 more than three times as many pieces of candy as Sydney. Samaria has 36 pieces of candy. How many does Sydney have?

Answer: C is candy
Samaria = 3c + 6
36 = 3c + 6.
Subtract 6 from both sides:
36 - 6 = 30
30 = 3c.
Divide both sides by 3:
30/3 = 10
Sydney has 10 pieces of candy.

Phantasy [73]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  4096∠0°

Step-by-step explanation:

The polar form of the base value is 2∠120°. Then the 12-th power is ...

  (2^12)∠(12×120°) = 4096∠0° . . . . or θ = 0 radians, as you wish

_____

I prefer the simpler notation r∠θ, rather than ...

  r(cos(θ) +i·sin(θ))   or   r·cis(θ)   or   r·e^(iθ)

You might not see this notation very often in areas outside of electrical engineering.

Find the circumference with the given radius.round to the nerest tenth.use 3.14 π r = 7cm
brilliants [131]

Answer:

44.0 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the circumference of a circle is

C=2\pi r

So we can substitute 7 for r and 3.14 for pi:

C=2(3.14)(7)=43.96 cm

And since we're rounding to the nearest tenth, the answer is 44.0 cm.

Help me please!!!!!!
fomenos
Area of semicircle: pi * r^2/2
r = 9/2 = 4.5
3.14 * 4.5^2 = 63.585/2 = 31.7925
Area of middle section:
Make it a rectangle: L * W
9 * 12 = 108
Area of bottom: L * W
6 * 9 = 54
Now add together: 31.7925 + 108 + 54 = 193.7925, round to nearest hundred
Solution: 193.79 in^2
