Answer: Bacteria lack a mechanism for splicing out introns

Explanation:

Factor VII gene is 186k nucleotides long while the protein is 2332 amino acids long. This lenght discrepancy is due to introns interrupting gene, because the cell first transcribes the entire gene and then cuts introns out of the transcript. At the end, it splices the remaining pieces. Prokaryotes don't perform splicing so it can not edit out introns from the primary mRNA transcript. To produce an eukaryote gene in prokaryotes it is necessary to use a reverse transcriptase to get a cDNA sequence without the introns, and then insert that into a bacterial genome.

The answers are A. life changes over time and B. Vesitigial organisms once had a function in ancient times. The trilobites first appeared in the Cambrian period and though they entered a decline int the Devonian period, some of them survived until Permian time or for a period of 270 million years. They were divided into 3 segments and were early examples of arthropods. They tended to live on or near the bottom of the oceans and were scavengers in part and as well as living on the ocean floor some swam and fed on plankton.

Explain the working method of tongue
melamori03 [73]

Explanation:

Chewing, grinding, pressing, salivating

When we chew, the tongue and the cheeks work together to constantly move the food between the teeth so that it can be chewed. The tongue presses the crushed food against the palate and moves this bolus, which is then ready to be swallowed, to the throat.

nadya68 [22]

Adaptations such as keen eyesight and ability to visualize colors allows the bees to find food while increasing the plants chances of pollination.

What are adaptations?

Adaptation refers to the special features an organism possess that enhances its chances of survival in its environment.

The adaptations in bees such as eye structure help them to easily locate flowers to obtain nectar.

The plants themselves are benefited as they can easily get pollinated by the bees.

Therefore, adaptations such as keen eyesight and ability to visualize colors allows the bees to find food while increasing the plants chances of pollination.
