The Trade Guild from the York Pageants:
The York Corpus Christi plays were an exchange society or "Riddle" arrangement of medieval events that loved the collection of Christ during the late spring dining experience of Corpus Christi. The Mysteries is a 1977 play by Leeds artist Tony Harrison dependent on the York and Wakefield Mystery Cycles.
The York Plays include one of the four complete enduring medieval play cycles at times known as 'puzzle cycles'. Medieval secret plays concentrated on the portrayal of Bible stories in holy places as tableaux with going with antiphonal melody.
They recounted subjects, for example, the Creation, Adam and Eve, the homicide of Abel, and the Last Judgment. Regularly they were performed together in cycles that could keep going for quite a long time.
