Each is located on a peninsula.

A peninsula is a piece of land almost surrounded by water or projecting out into a body of water.

<em>South Korea</em> is located on the Korean Peninsula in East Asia. Since the end of World War II the peninsula is divided into the countries of North and South Korea. Prior to the division, it was one country called Korea.

<em>Saudi Arabia</em> is located on the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia which is the largest peninsula in the world. It consists of the following countries: Yemen, Oma, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

<em>Italy</em> is located on the Italian Peninsula ( Appenine Peninsula). The peninsula's particular shape gives it the nickname<em> Lo Stivale</em> (the Boot). It extends from the valley in the north into the Mediterranean Sea. There are three small peninsulas within the Italian one: Calabria, Salento and Gargano.

<em>India</em> is located on the Indian Peninsula (Indian Subcontinent) in South Asia. It projects southwards into the Indian Ocean. The Indian Subcontinent includes: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
