The French and Indian War (1754–1763) was a confrontation between the British colonies and the colony of New France in North America. During the conflict, each side was supported by military forces from its parent country and by American Indian-native allies. The French were outnumbered (60,000 settlers against 2 million inhabitants in the British colonies), and had to rely more on the Indians.
It was a singular conflict. Even tough the European powers participated somehow, it is not regarded in America as a conflict associated to them at all.
He focused on creating a model communist state, he abolished all privately owned farms and replaced them with collectives, he outlined several five year plans to direct industrialization.
Basically, Texas has had underwater areas for as long as it has existed. When it was discovered that there were oil deposits there, the federal government wanted to take it away from Texas who was a recognize owner of the land. It was a case where the state and the federation had to fight in the supreme court. Politics changed because Texas started hating on anyone who tried to take it away so they switched their presidential support based on this.
